History
Our history goes back to 1929 when the first show barn was erected and used primarily as a dairy barn. In 1945 the farm was incorporated in the State of Connecticut, and then formally began operating as a horse farm in 1963 under the control of well known Quarter Horse breeder Joe Ferro. Grandview was recognized as one of the largest horse breeders in the Northeast.
In 2012 the farm was purchased by new owners with the mission of restoring the "Grand" in "Grandview" ! The farm now operates under "Grandview Farms of Connecticut, LLC".
